Responsibilities
Collaborate with space systems engineers, mission control, and data scientists to understand IT requirements for space missions and projects.
Design, deploy, and maintain IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to support space operations and data analysis.
Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of IT systems, including cybersecurity measures.
Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard data integrity.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network components, servers, and Storage systems.
Collaborate with external vendors to integrate specialized software and tools into the IT environment.
Stay updated with industry trends to propose and implement innovative IT solutions for space missions.
Contribute to documentation, including system architecture and operational procedures.
Maintain awareness of security frameworks and ITIL processes.
Work directly with AWS and space agencies in Luxembourg, US, and Japan.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
Proficiency in database programming and software installation.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Prior experience with Azure or AWS cloud deployment & management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience in the space industry is advantageous.
Knowledge of French is beneficial but not mandatory.
Preferred skills
Scripting skills in Bash, batch, Python, or similar languages.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
Understanding of system security and data backup/recovery.
