The Product and Business Development Department is responsible to business development and to build the bridge between Japanese/non-Japanese clients and our local business on any queries related to funds from clients and advisors.

This department takes care of the structuring of new investment funds, on-boarding/first contacts with counterparties (Investment Advisors, Investors and Promoters, Distributors) and providing them with value-added service throughout the duration of business relationship (or the life of investment funds) while acting as an intermediary between them and other NBL departments.

Especially, the department is to have good relationship with the clients relating to alternative investment (e.g.

private equity funds etc.) In order to support the Product and Business Development Department, we are looking for an Officer/Senior Officer on a permanent contract to start ASAP.

Your main tasks will be to: Manage fund structuring based on the needs from the external fund promoter Preparing legal documents in coordination with internal legal departments Conduct negotiation relating to fund structuring Liaise with internal departments in the frame of fund documentation process Liaise with Japanese/non-Japanese clients for fund structuring issues i.e.: answer queries, requests and claims received from Fund Promoters Support in the creation of new products as well as internal procedures Liaise with alternative investment clients for inquires, requests, claims relating to their funds Provide our clients (Japan and English contacts) with the best quality they can expect Any administrative task related to the above.

Job requirements: Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is mandatory Working experience in fund administration, investment management, marketing and product management preferably in the Financial Sector Successful record in building and maintaining client relationship with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation Studies in Finance, Business Administration or related matters is an advantage High professional approach in all contacts, risk awareness, customer and quality minded Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Flexibility, open-mindedness and team spirit are highly appreciated assets.
