If yes, then this is the opportunity for you! WHAT IS THE ROLE? Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs of our buildings.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, loading & unloading trucks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
Assist with small construction duties, office movements, meeting room setup and outside landscaping.
Share information regarding refurbishments with internal & external stakeholders.
Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies to minimize downtime, in line with applicable instructions.
Ensure that requests, corrective actions, and documentation are done in a timely manner.
Collaborate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Weekly site inspection rounds formalized by an inspection report.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support.
Primary contact for facility related emergencies, which may require evening and weekend work.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school training is a plus.
Proven experience of minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or as a Facility Technician.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Team player mindset.
Good organizational & planning skills, with an eye for details.
Problem solving attitude and ‘can-do' approach.
Awareness and understanding of health & safety in the workplace.
Valid forklift license is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office/M365.
