Job description
To strengthen our team of database engineers, we are seeking a professional experienced in managing Oracle databases on Unix, with a preference for experience on AIX/Solaris.
Responsibilities
Ensure the management and administration of Oracle databases on Unix.
Collaborate with the team to ensure availability, performance, and security of the databases.
Participate in incident resolution and implementation of patches.
Contribute to performance optimization and capacity management of the databases.
Ensure on-site presence during the integration period, then work autonomously based on management's discretion.
Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.
Opportunity for remote work in accordance with our policy after the integration period.
Required skills
Proven experience in managing Oracle databases on Unix, with a preference for experience on AIX/Solaris.
Proficiency in database administration and configuration of Oracle databases.
Intermediate level as a DBA (Mid-level).
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish would be a plus.
Knowledge of Ansible would be a plus.
At least one of the following skills is mandatory in addition to Oracle:
Knowledge of MSSQL.
Knowledge of DB2 Open.
Knowledge of Postgre SQL.
Knowledge of Sybase.
Knowledge of Mongo DB.
