Objectives
The Sales Manager optimizes the company's sales by managing both commercial activities and team management. Therefore, he wears the dual hat of a manager and a salesperson.
He must be an excellent leader, demonstrating listening skills, dynamism, and possessing strong interpersonal qualities that allows him to establish long-term relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients. He works in collaboration with internal teams, the marketing department, and senior management to achieve set sales targets while ensuring effective leadership.
Responsibilities and tasks
Business Development:
Management of existing customer accounts.
Development of a commercial prospecting plan.
Identification of new prospects through various channels such as email, telephone, events, trade shows, social networks, etc.
Mastery of Sales pitch and Sales materials.
Creation and presentation of commercial offers.
Management:
Unification, motivation, and coordination of teams (Account Managers, Internal Sales, Presales, and Sales Support).
Implementation of the Sales strategy in coordination with the sales, marketing, and market animation departments.
Promotion of the company's image and reputation.
Alignment with the Service Delivery Manager (technical manager) and the presales team.
Regular reporting of commercial activities (weekly or monthly).
Client/Partner Management:
Management of client relationships to ensure effective follow-up and support sales teams in their activities (support for account managers, closing deals, networking, etc.).
Interaction with partners on specific projects.
Organization of events and regular participation in those organized by the industry.
Regular commercial monitoring of the industry.
Evaluation of each client's needs and identification of necessary actions.
Development of a customer loyalty policy.
Organization and prioritization of actions on the client portfolio to meet their needs.
Required skills
At least 10 years proven experience in business development and team management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and dynamism.
Strong results orientation, customer focus and ability to achieve set objectives.
Ability to work collaboratively with different internal departments.
Comfortable with Sales technology, CRM systems, and other tools to streamline processes, track performance, and enhance productivity.
Proficiency in French and English. German and/or Luxembourgish are considered assets.
