TASK RESPONSIBILITIES: Repair, overhaul & modify aircraft electro-mechanical components in the shop Perform all administrative steps of the job (e.g.
work cards sign off, parts booking, time recording) Operate test benches for troubleshooting and testing Assist in creating tools and test fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs and tests Operate shop tooling and test equipment Provide verbal and written hand-over of his work to team members and superiors ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION: Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship as electrician Minimum two years experience in the repair of electrical/ electronic components Good understanding of drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals and repair methods Mature attitude, ability to work in a team and independently Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language will be considered an advantage Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook), WORKING CONDITIONS: Full-time position based in Luxembourg The position holder works in the shop environment.
Occaisional flexibility outside the normal working schedule may be asked (within Luxembourg law and Collective Work Agreement regulations).
Occasional travel will be remunerated in accordance with Collective Work Agreement.
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012.
The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
