For our Accounting Department we are hiring a Experienced Financial & Reporting Officer (w/m/x) The Financial and Reporting Officer is in charge of analytical supporting for the Management in the accounting and controlling of the bank's operations.
He/She ensures the accuracy of the bank's financial data in order to prepare the periodic reporting for the Board of Directors, the parent company and the official autorities Major duties & responsibilities Bank's operations accounting and review of financial documents in the respect of applicable norms and regulations Performs the periodic accounting of the bank's operations in the respect of norms and regulations Is in charge of the accounts opening in the system ensuring the application of the good pricing Performs the vendor billing, checks the data accuracy, and submits the information to the Back Office for payment Calculates and adjusts clients' banking fees on a regular basis (i.e.
custody fees, commissions, account fees, etc.) Makes multiple daily accounting controls (check of provisions and depreciation accounts, liquidity ratio, balance sheet, etc.) Is in charge of the monthly and annual VAT declarations May be in charge of the new domiciliation creation and follow-up Financial reporting Supports in providing the Board of Directors with daily financial reporting (i.e.
balance sheet, loss and profits report, etc.) Supports in providing the parent company with financial reporting on a regular basis Regulatory reporting : production of CCSF, BCL and BCE reports Relationship with the bank's internal services and external third parties Participates to the risks assessment related to the bank's accounting activities and alerts the concerned services of the bank when required Prepares and dispatches financial documents to the bank's internal services on a daily basis Profile Education : BAC+5 in finance, economy and/or Audit Required previous experience : at least 5 years of experience in a similar position within the financial sector or an audit company Behavioural and technical skills Good knowledge in finance and perfect mastery of financial tools (power query or tableau) Knowledge of the banking products and services Knowledge of the Luxemburgish and European norms and regulations Proficiency use of usual Microsoft software (Excel formulas, pivot tables and notions SQL) Analytical and problem solving skills Organisation and priorities management Rigor and precision Proactivity and reactivity Team spirit and collaboration The ideal candidate will be fluent in French, Italian and English We offer Banking sector agreement and benefits (pension scheme, supplementary health insurance, etc.) Permanent contract On site, full-time position Disponibility : as soon as possible BPER Bank Luxembourg is committed to promote equal opportunities in employment.
